ReadyQueue™ — Operational Continuity Memory System

¿Qué significa realmente “trabajar junto a mi EHR”?

ReadyQueue does not replace your EHR, practice-management system, imaging platform, payer portal, fax, or ophthalmic technology. Those systems remain authoritative for the functions they own. ReadyQueue receives approved operational evidence and connects what management still needs to know: what is unfinished, who owns the next action, what is blocked, what is due, what could affect tomorrow, and whether the underlying source can still be trusted.

Approved operational evidence can come from

  • EHR and practice-management connections
  • Secure fax and email workflows
  • Referral and authorization workflows
  • Payer and outside-practice information
  • Diagnostic/imaging and equipment/vendor sources
  • Spreadsheet/import and secure upload
  • Manual entry, Voice, and photo/sticky-note capture
  • Approved APIs, FHIR/HL7, and other certified connectors

ReadyQueue turns applicable evidence into operational memory

  • Owner and backup
  • Blocker or missing information
  • Next action and deadline
  • Acknowledgment and escalation
  • Source/provenance and freshness
  • Tomorrow/patient-flow impact
  • Communication and delivery history
  • Audit, recovery, and reconciliation history

No. Certified integrations can reduce manual work, but ReadyQueue can also operate from approved fax/email workflows, imports, secure uploads, native ReadyQueue workflows, Voice/photo capture, and controlled manual continuity. The system should show where information came from and when it was last verified.

ReadyQueue is designed for a multi-system eye-care environment, but integration capability is connector-specific. During evaluation and implementation, Emedopt verifies the exact systems used at each location and identifies which information can be connected, imported, exchanged, or maintained through approved ReadyQueue continuity workflows. ReadyQueue does not claim a vendor connector until that connector is approved and certified for the stated scope.

Can different locations use different systems?

Yes. ReadyQueue is location-aware and is designed to normalize authorized operational information without requiring every location to use the same source system. The exact automated data available at each location still depends on the certified connector or intake method for that source.

Your source system can go down. Your operational responsibilities do not disappear.

ReadyQueue preserves its authorized last-known operational memory and clearly marks source condition instead of treating an outage as “zero problems.” Work that can safely continue may enter manual continuity. Work that depends on unavailable source truth remains explicitly unverified. When the source returns, ReadyQueue reconciles outage-period activity before the source is treated as recovered.

Can referral work continue during a source outage?

ReadyQueue referral continuity can preserve approved referral work and controlled organization-to-organization communication when a normal source or partner workflow is unavailable. Authorized outside parties may acknowledge a request, provide approved missing information/documents, communicate securely, and preserve a next-action expectation without receiving general access to the practice’s ReadyQueue environment.

Yes. Approved operational communication may use ReadyQueue internal messages, secure email, SMS/text, secure fax, outbound voice calls, and secure links. The practice controls recipient eligibility, routing, quiet hours, escalation windows, channel policy, and applicable review requirements.

¿Qué puedo preguntarle a ReadyQueue?

Search, Command, Voice, and ReadyQueue Intelligence™ use the same authorized operational services. Voice is not a separate business brain and does not bypass permissions.

“What needs my attention before close?”
“Why are two surgeries at risk tomorrow?”
“Which referrals are still waiting on outside records?”
“Did anyone contact the referring office?”
“Who owns the work while Jennifer is out?”
“What is happening with the OCT?”
“Which locations have unowned work?”
“What changed when our source system went down?”

Can ReadyQueue take action when I speak?

For approved workflows, Voice can submit the same controlled Command path used by typed requests. Consequential changes require the appropriate permission, preview/confirmation, and audit. Voice never receives extra authority simply because a command was spoken.

What happens to sticky notes, photos, and quick operational reminders?

ReadyQueue Capture can extract candidate operational information from a photo or handwritten note and propose structured work such as related workflow, missing information, owner, next action, or deadline. Uncertain identity or consequential state does not become authoritative simply because extraction was fast. Review is required where the workflow or uncertainty demands it.

¿Quién toma las decisiones importantes: ReadyQueue o mi personal?

Your authorized people remain in control. ReadyQueue can search, summarize, flag, prioritize, recommend, draft, classify, and route. Consequential, sensitive, regulated, uncertain, or approval-dependent outcomes follow the organization’s permission and human-review policy. Optional Emedopt Managed Operations is separately scoped and is not automatically involved in every ReadyQueue action.

What if employees do not update every item?

ReadyQueue is designed to reduce—not recreate—the burden of manual status maintenance. When ReadyQueue itself sends a communication, receives provider delivery evidence, imports a source event, or records an acknowledgment, that evidence can update operational history automatically. Staff input remains necessary for facts no connected system can observe. When evidence conflicts, ReadyQueue should preserve the conflict and verification state rather than silently turn it green.

¿Qué significa realmente “¿Me puedo ir?”

It is not a literal permission button. It is the management acceptance test: can an authorized manager quickly see what is safe to carry overnight, what needs attention before close, what is already owned, what has no owner, and which sources are stale/degraded/unavailable—then drill into owner, backup, next action, deadline, escalation, and evidence.

¿Qué necesita ReadyQueue para funcionar bien?

QuestionReadyQueue answer
Is this another system?Yes. It must earn its place by reducing the number of systems and people a manager has to search for an operational answer.
Does integration matter?Yes. Certified integrations reduce manual work, but ReadyQueue is not useless without a deep EHR integration.
Does staff participation matter?Yes, for events no authorized source can observe. Voice, capture, imports, communication evidence, and escalation are designed to reduce that burden.
Can every answer always be treated as current? No. ReadyQueue shows source state and verification status so stale or uncertain information is not presented as verified current truth.
Will staff trust it immediately?Trust is earned during the Guided Evaluation by comparing ReadyQueue’s operating picture against actual workflows and evidence.
30-Day Guided Evaluation

¿Qué es la Evaluación Guiada de 30 Días?

It is not an empty software trial. Start with one real operational pressure point—such as referrals, authorizations, surgery readiness, follow-up, staff ownership, clinic flow, source continuity, or multi-location visibility. Establish the current baseline, configure the applicable ReadyQueue workflow, measure what changes, and decide whether to expand.

“¿Cuál es un problema que su personal tiene que perseguir a diario o con frecuencia y que desearía no tener que perseguir?”

Cuéntenos ese problema. Le mostraremos cómo ReadyQueue está diseñado para manejarlo.
